We're looking for kind, courageous, generous people who want to make more
art! We support people & places that encourage creativity, but we have hosted several types
of events at Scarlet Star Studios: unique Artist's
Way Creative Clusters, a guided art night each month, a free collage night each month,
a wide range of inspiring workshops
led by gentle & talented instructors, and independent support options for artists. Sometimes
we have also hosted art supply swaps, labyrinth walks, art salons & other unexpectedly
delightful opportunities for art exploration.

13: Creative Business Basics at the IPRC: Starting a
business is easy! Keeping it running is harder. Whether you're struggling with your identity,
finances or business planning, this workshop will help you identify the next step you need to
take to make yourself legal, stable & profitable in Oregon. In addition, learn about the other
people & organizations who are on your side, including inspiration & support from other DIY
business owners. (1-5 p.m.: register through the IPRC)

15: Trillium Artisans Annual Holiday Sale! Meet
the artisans and indulge in wine and snacks as you take care of some early holiday shopping.
I'm on the Board of Trillium Artisans and this is a great way to support low-income artisans
who create quality crafts using recycled & reclaimed materials.
